Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
In short
- litschi works without an account. We never ask for your name, email address or date of birth.
- Your settings stay on your device.
- We use Google Firebase Analytics to learn which parts of the app are used. It works with a random ID, never your name or email address.
- We use Firebase Crashlytics to find and fix crashes.
- Apple and Google sell the subscriptions. RevenueCat helps us check whether yours is active. We never see your payment details.
- We don't sell your data.
1. Who is responsible
The controller for the litschi app and this website under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
Tap Convert Kft.Révay köz 4.
1065 Budapest
Hungary
Email: [email protected]
2. Data on your device
Your app settings, such as your language, are stored only on your device. We don't receive them. They are deleted when you delete the app.
3. Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics)
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand which parts of litschi are used, so we can improve the app.
What is processed
- Which screens you open, when a subscription offer is shown or closed, attempts to restore purchases, and language changes in the app.
- Technical information: a random app instance ID, device model, operating system and version, app version, language, approximate country or region, first launch, and session length.
We don't send your name, email address, precise location or the content you look at in the app. We don't use advertising identifiers (IDFA on iPhone, advertising ID on Android). According to Google, your IP address is used to derive an approximate location and is not stored.
Legal basis and your right to object
Our legitimate interest in understanding how litschi is used so we can improve it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We only process pseudonymous usage data, without advertising identifiers. You can object at any time by email.
Provider and retention
Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, processes the data on our behalf. Google deletes user-level and event-level data after 2 months. Aggregated reports that no longer relate to a person can be kept longer. See Firebase privacy information.
4. Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
When litschi crashes or hits a serious error, Firebase Crashlytics sends us a report so we can find and fix the problem.
- What is processed: the error and where it happened in the code, app version, device model, operating system and version, free memory and storage, screen orientation, time of the crash, and a random Crashlytics installation ID.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a stable and secure app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time by email.
- Provider: Google Ireland Limited (see section 3), on our behalf.
- Retention: crash reports are deleted after 90 days.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
You buy litschi Pro through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple and Google handle payment as independent controllers under their own privacy policies. We never receive your payment details or the name of your store account.
We use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA) to manage subscriptions on our behalf. RevenueCat processes:
- a random user ID that the app creates, not linked to your name or store account,
- purchase information from Apple or Google: product, price, currency, store country, purchase and renewal dates, transaction IDs and whether a trial is active,
- technical information: app version, operating system, and your IP address when the app connects.
Purpose: to unlock litschi Pro, keep its status up to date, restore purchases, and count subscriptions. Legal basis: performing our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for subscription statistics, our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep this data while your subscription relationship exists, and afterwards for as long as statutory retention obligations require. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
6. This website and email
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. on our behalf. When you visit it, Cloudflare processes your IP address, the date and time, the page you requested, and your browser and operating system, to deliver the website and protect it from attacks. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. Fonts are served from our own website.
If you email us, we use your email address and message to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed.
7. Recipients and transfers outside the EU
Google, RevenueCat and Cloudflare process data on our behalf under data processing agreements (Art. 28 GDPR). Some data may be processed in the USA. Transfers rely on the EU adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, and otherwise on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).
8. Age
litschi is meant for people aged 13 and older.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access your data (Art. 15 GDPR), to have it corrected (Art. 16), deleted (Art. 17) or restricted (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21).
Because litschi has no accounts, we usually can't find your data from your name or email address alone. Write to [email protected] and we'll help you find it. Deleting the app also resets the random IDs described above.
You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live. Ours is the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH), Falk Miksa utca 9–11, 1055 Budapest, Hungary, naih.hu.
10. No automated decisions
We don't make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that have legal or similarly significant effects.
11. Changes
We update this policy when the app or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change matters for you, we'll tell you in the app.
